What is this community? He established the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community after receiving divine call in 1889 to spread the true and peaceful teachings of religion, and once again re-establish mankind’s commune with God.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community believes that God sent Ahmad(as), like Jesus (as) to end religious wars, condemn bloodshed and reinstitute morality, justice and peace. Ahmad’s(as) advent has brought about a profound spiritual revolution that reinstated the position of religion, spirituality, and morality, in India, and who’s peaceful message is subsequently being proliferated all over the world. He divested religion of fanatical beliefs and practices by vigorously championing the true and essential teachings of worship and spirituality. He recognized the noble teachings of the great religious founders and saints, including Zoroaster(as), Abraham(as), Moses(as), Jesus (as), Krishna(as), Buddha(as), Confucius(as), Lao Tzu and Guru Nanak, and explained how such teachings converged into the one true Islam.
This true form of religion and unity, is now being practiced by the Ahmadiyya Muslim community, and the movement continues to serve as the framework and the vehicle to bring mankind back to God through a system of brotherhood, humanity and spirituality.
The Promised Messiah, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, came and left a profound legacy for us to follow, but also established a divine community, to lead us towards a spiritually fulfilling and happy life. A community that would lead mankind back to God, established firmly in goodness and service of humanity.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is currently led by His Holiness, the Caliph, Mirza Masroor Ahmad, who resides in London, UK.
His Holiness is the world’s leading religious figure promoting peace and inter-religious harmony. Through his sermons, lectures, books, and personal meetings, His Holiness has continuously advocated the need for justice and returning back to God, as the ultimate means of bringing peace on earth at this dangerous time.
His Holiness has travelled globally to promote and facilitate service to humanity. He regularly meets presidents, prime ministers, other heads of state, parliamentarians and ambassadors of state.
He has continuously warned world leaders about the devastating condition of the world and the dangers of where we are headed as a society. He famously stated, “Storm clouds for warning us of a Third World War are getting heavier by the day.” He has also spoken on numerous accounts about the solutions and the importance of mankind to turn back to righteousness, justice, spirituality, and ultimately, GOD.
Today it is the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and its founder who are calling the world back to a message of peace, and calling mankind back to God.
